VWLS

Bonjour. I thought I would just update you all onto what's been jiggin' down recently, I have finally finished my Art GCSE exam, and now all I have to do is complete my coursework ready for my show in the next few weeks!  I am also super syked as I have also just won a bid on ebay for the most beautiful record player known to all living organisms.  She is red, white and portable. You guessed it she's a Fidelity, I've been trying to snag one for almost a year! So I am very very giddy right now, and I can't wait to buy some vinyl on the weekend to  break her in and build up the collection a little more.  I was thinking maybe getting an Otis Redding one, if I can find one that is. I absolutely love Try a Little Bit of Tenderness ever since I heard it on Pretty in Pink. So I think that's a pretty solid choice for a new record. Otherwise, I'm sure Rise has something in their bundle on the shelf. I've also been laughing alot recently over the video Sittin' on a toilet. Childish I know, but I just can't get over it. Maybe it's just the fact that my friend and I do incredible re-enactments of it. I don't know, maybe I'm just going a little loopy...

Absorbed

As a being living in the twenty first century I find it normal to be succumbed to the monstrosity of atrificial lighting. Allowing it to creep in the very conrners of my room as I sit at my computer screen and soak in its fantastically gaudy rays of light. Visiting a friend's house that it submerged in white sky light settings had made me realise how I never (well hardly) ever see the light of day to it's true capacity, the amazing spaces filled with natural light, absorbing the white off of the walls of his house made me think about the true elegance of sunlight, and how I miss it, because of society handing me light within a glass bulb. I've missed the true beauty of having a home flooded with light. Which is why skylights are on my list of features for my house in the future.

AH

~~

Audrey Hepburn, a woman who went through so much in her life yet still managed to remain a strong and inspiring, so beautiful through grace and personality that any flaws she may find herself are invisble to a viewers eye. I truely admire her, reading about her life was amazing, it's so sad that she passed, now I'll never have the possability of meeting her in the flesh.

That picture at the moment is an absolute favourite, so much I'm planning to get it printed and hung up on my wall, I love the sheer innocence within it. Not only that but she just looks so cute, and I feel weird saying this because she must be about mid thirties perhaps in this photo yet she just looks so youthful!

Audrey Hepburn, a freakin' legend of a gal!
